Pumpkin Pie is Perfect for December Too
Pumpkin pie may be a Thanksgiving staple, but there's no reason you can't enjoy this treat in December as well. In fact, December 25th (yes, you read that right) is National Pumpkin Pie Day. Why not celebrate it with a slice? There are many bakeries and restaurants serving delicious pumpkin pies in the area around North Canton and Akron. Gardner Pie is a quaint Akron bakeshop that serves hundreds of pies a day to residents of Summit County. They offer pumpkin pie as part of their seasonal lineup throughout December, including a tiny 6-inch pie meant to be shared by just two people.
