Fall Family Outings Around Stark County | DeHOFF REALTORS

After another great summer around North Canton homes for sale, it's time to turn our attention toward an exciting slate of fall attractions in the area. There's so much to look forward to for families in Stark County, especially if you like spending time outdoors and enjoying the autumn weather. From apple picking to fun, fascinating historical festivals, there's something for everyone to be excited about coming up on the calendar. Our real estate agents have all the details on four fall family outings that you won't want to miss around Stark County this year.

  • Yankee Peddler Festival at Clay's Park Resort - 13190 Patterson St. NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666
Have you ever wondered what life was like in Ohio during pioneer times? The annual Yankee Peddler Festival—which is celebrating a very special 50th anniversary this year—returns for another enchanting step back in time at Clay's Park Resort near Canal Fulton homes for sale. With 75 acres of family-friendly activities, including living history exhibits, this event provides the perfect mix of education and fun.

Artisans will set up shop with traditional, colonial-era tools, authentic food from the era cooked over open fires, and countless talented vendors offering unique, hand-crafted goods. You can enjoy this event Sept. 9-10, 16-17 & 23-24, with tickets available both online and at the gate.

  • Maize Valley Winery & Craft Brewery - 6193 Edison St. NE, Hartville, OH 44632
If you're searching for outdoor family fun near Hartville homes for sale, visit the popular Maize Valley fall activity area. One admission ticket grants you access to many different activities, including animal train rides for young kids, duck races, rainbow & pumpkin jump pads, the goat-a-palooza animal area, and the littlest farmer play area, to name just a few.

In addition to the many things to do in the fall activity area, there are plenty of more traditional fall activities to enjoy on the farm, like visiting the pumpkin patch or searching for treasures at the gem mine. Season passes are available for fall activities, and there are extra events to enjoy on most fall weekends.

  • Arrowhead Orchard - 11724 Lisbon St. NE, Paris, OH 44669
Fall is harvest season at many Ohio farms, including at Arrowhead Orchard where you can enjoy u-pick apples, pumpkins, and sunflowers throughout their Fall Festival from Sept. 8-Oct. 31. Your admission also grants access to unlimited hayrides, a fun, challenging corn maze to navigate, visits to the pumpkin patch, and a huge selection of activities/play structures geared toward the youngest members of the family. Try your luck at target shooting with the Apple Cannon, or enjoy a relaxing visit to the lovely Applehouse Market located at the orchard.

  • Kingsway Pumpkin Farm - 1555 Andrews St. NE, Hartville, OH 44632
The team at Kingsway Pumpkin Farm prides itself on offering a cheerful, uplifting experience for families during the fall through fun, wholesome activities on the farm. Kids will love navigating the long straw tunnel, finding their way through the difficult Alligator Escape corn maze, playing in the corn pit, feeding the animals, and capping it all off with a hayride to the pumpkin patch where they can pick their own pumpkin just in time for Halloween.
