Premier Music Destinations for Upcoming Performances | DeHOFF REALTORS

It may not be the hills of Austria, but the streets of Stark and Summit counties are alive with the sound of music this summer. Our real estate agents eagerly anticipate some memorable shows at these wonderful outdoor venues.

  • Plain Township Amphitheater - 2600 Easton St. NE, Canton, OH 44721
    Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for some great music when you visit Plain Township Amphitheater. After the venue's inaugural season in 2024, it's already become a popular entertainment destination near Plain Township homes for sale. The 2025 Summer Concert Series features a lineup of tribute bands performing beloved songs from some legendary musical acts. Showcased artists and bands include Bruce Springsteen (6/12), Elton John (7/10), and the Beatles (8/7). Ticket options range from $10-$165.

  • Nash Family Jackson Amphitheater - 7454 Community Parkway NW, Jackson Township, OH 44646
    Music is the main event at Nash Family Jackson Amphitheater, but it's home to a number of other attractions. The amphitheater is part of the 70-acre North Park complex, right down the street from Jackson Township homes for sale, which has facilities for a wide range of outdoor activities. A free performance by the Love Boat Band on Friday, 5/16 opens the 2025 season. Other events include tributes to the Bee Gees (Friday, 5/23) and the Eagles (Friday, 5/30).   • Canton Centennial Plaza - 330 Court Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44702
    Soak up all the energy of the downtown area at the Canton Centennial Plaza. The facility was developed to incorporate the history of the existing site, just minutes from Canton homes for sale, while strengthening the city's connection with the NFL as a sister site to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Many of the concerts are held in conjunction with First Friday, Canton's monthly celebration of arts and entertainment.   • Concerts in the Park - Various locations, Akron, OH
    Unwind after a day of viewing Akron homes for sale with an evening of music during Concerts in the Park. Beginning on Monday, 6/9, seven local parks will be hosting a series of concerts in a variety of genres, so there's something for everyone. Take it back to the '70s and '80s with classic party rock from Cold Blue Steele (7/1 at Firestone Park), get in the groove with Eric Everett Jazz: Elation! (6/12 at Lawton Street CC and 6/30 at Hardesty Park, and mellow out with the folk-rock sounds of Jim & Beth Miller (7/2 at Shadyside Park). Some shows coincide with Akron Bicentennial Celebration Festivals. Hours are 7 - 9 p.m., and admission is free.

  • Summer Concerts in the Park - Bicentennial Park, 3486 S. Smith Road, Fairlawn, OH 44333
    Summer Concerts in the Park, taking place not far from Fairlawn homes for sale, is another reason to TGIF. On 6/6, enjoy the timeless tunes of the King during "One Night with You," an Elvis Presley tribute. Legendary Ohio performers the Michael Stanley Band are the focus of "In the Heartland" on 8/1. Showtime is 7 p.m., and admission is free. Music is also part of Bicentennial Park's Fourth of July Celebration, starting at 5 p.m. Food trucks and beer/seltzer vendors will be on hand, and the night wraps up with a spectacular fireworks show.
