As autumn approaches, the leaves are beginning to change color. Maple leaves turn a stunning shade of red, and oaks give off a lovely, orange and yellow radiance. If you love looking at colorful fall leaves, North Canton is a great place to be. Here are a few spots our real estate agents recommend visiting for your leaf-peeping pleasure.

Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve

Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating people about plants and the environment. The 181-acre preserve is full of gorgeous, flowering plants and trees.

There are four hiking trails, of varying difficulties, to explore at this preserve. Chad's Way is a particularly popular, 1/2-mile trail that is accessible to those who use wheelchairs and other mobility aids. Another favorite is the Fern Ridge Trail, which is about 1 mile long with a few steeper ascents.

Sippo Lake Park

Sippo Lake Park is a 300-acre park featuring extensive forested areas. Looking out over the forest at this park is breathtaking, as you can see trees of various colors melding together. Lake Township Community Park

Quail Hollow State Park

Quail Hollow State Park also offers eight nature hiking trails, along with a 5-mile equestrian trail. The trails weave through dense forests, pine woods, and meadows.
